In their slowly flowing stream of information, Rockstar have replaced their one-image one-page website with details of one of three cities, Los Santos (aka Los Angeles), in the upcoming GTA Sanandreas. It contains screenshots, videos, along with all the usual general information.

New prices set for PS2, Xbox

As of today, the PlayStation 2 and Xbox are set at a suggested retail price of 159 and 149.99 euro, respectively.

“PlayStation 2 has enjoyed phenomenal success, and the time has now come to go well beyond our 450,000 PlayStation 2 owners in Ireland” commented, Niall O’Hanrahan, MD of Sony Computer Entertainment Ireland.

“With this new pricing, even more Irish gamers, casual and otherwise, will be able to enjoy Xbox this Christmas,” said Orla Sheridan, Home & Entertainment Division Manager, Microsoft Ireland.

The Guardian launches Gamesblog

The UK newspaper, the Guardian, has launched ‘Gamesblog’, an online collection of news, opinions, and reviews in the (at least visual) form of a ‘blog’, or internet journal. The newspaper it self, which is seen as somewhat obsessed with blogs, in print edition already publishes more games content then any other paper we have seen – with content in their ‘Online’ supplement on Thursdays, and in the pocket-size entertainment magazine on Saturdays.
