PHASE ONE: Developers, Publishers, and Middleware Providers
After vastly expanding our news archive’s category tags, the following is the first phase of Games Toaster’s Irish Computer Games Directory.

Part one coverers producers (developers, publishers, and middleware providers etc). This first phase, like what is to come, will be dynamic; but also contains historic entrees.

The directory comes after many years of looking at the idea of a database or similar. It is planned to expand from producers to every area of computer games in Ireland.

Belfast firm make web game for film

CanDo Interactive have developed a promotional Shockwave game for the recently release film Running Scared – it can be played by going to the ‘game’ section at runningscaredthemovie.com. CanDo has previously worked on a game for the film Triple X 2 and helped with an SUV safety promotion run by the US Attorney General’s office.

3D car level competition

CanDo Interactive is running a competition to design 'the best online interactive 3D car level’ using their online vehicle application – downloadable free from their site. CanDo are a Northern Ireland based company who develop 3D environments for sales and marketing. With an entree date 31st of November, we’re a bit late with this one.
